Double Rain Bow

Only had an hour to fish today, from 3:50 - 4:45. Bought way too many lures online... had to put some of them to use. I don't know how I'm going to use them all. It was raining but I was plenty covered and warm. I started fishing in the entryway but nothing would eat a jerkbait, and I know there are fish there. So I switched to a spinner and a rainbow bit it. I wonder if part of it is just because the water was so fast, and the spinner could get down into the water column faster than the jerkbait I was throwing could. Anyway, I kept switching lures back and forth between spinners and jerkbaits while walking up the river, and landed another rainbow in my usual fish-catching location on a Megabass Great Hunting 55s. Not bad for one hour. Definitely don't have my net, pliers, camera system down. I felt like I had to open ten zippers every time I caught a fish, and probably forgetting to close half of them. Will try to get more organized next time. That being said, the net wasn't so bad. It's certainly bigger than it needs to be, but not by much, and I was able to release both fish without touching them at all.

First bow

I stayed until after sundown, and heard a coyote whining in the distance. Shortly after, a big deer sprinted past me. Probably should have been my queue to leave, but stayed for a few more casts and then went home.
